1 full set of Droks Druids... plus 5 other pieces when i need to alter attributes slightly.

2 full sets for warrior, Primeval purely because i needed a helm with +1 mastery instead of my Knights Helm w/ +1 Strength.

Ele, Mesmer, Necro and Monk have 1 full set plus a 55 set.

Rest just have 1 set.

Different armor for different builds. 55 armor. curse armor. death armor. channeling armor. rest armor. whatever. and of course vanity too.

Question 1: too bloody many!

my Necro has armour sets for:
BiPing a 55hp set
MMing
Cursing 15k Canthan (and I don't mean standing there throwing insults out either)
Blood Spiking

my ranger has:
Beast Master set
Trapping set
General PvE set 15k primeval

my monk has:
55hp set
General PvE Set
Scalp tats for Smiting/Healing/Protecting/Divine Favour

my mesmer has:
15k enchanters for general PvE
differnet mask for different uses

my warrior has:
Ancient armour + Helms for each weapon type and strength

my dervish has:
sunspear for general PvE
sunspear for 135hp dervish

my others just have the 1 set

my favorite necro has 5 sets
ranger 5 sets
male war 7 sets
female war 5 sets
monk 4 sets
para 3 sets
dervish 3 sets
mesmer 4 sets
ele 5 sets
sin 3 sets
rit 2sets
wars and ranger and monk are for specific builds and situations
8 of em has FoW armor, but i think those are just for lookin thoufh

I don't have completely different sets, but do have two or three pieces from the same set on each character, with different runes, so that I can swap attributes around, depending on the build's requirements. For example, my Ranger has three extra pieces from the same set which can be swapped out for either max Marksmanship, for Running, or for UW Trapping.

A long time ago, I tried the whole having more than one set approach for my Necro, but it took up so much storage space, I gave that approach up for my other characters. It's kind of fun trying to figure out which Rune/Insignia combinations on which pieces can be swapped out for most efficiency, requiring the least amount of armor. I usually carry one or two extra headpieces, a spare set of gloves and/or a spare set of boots.

Besides wanting a different look, the one build I can think of that really requires a completely new set of armor is the "55 farmer" and it's variations.

Two sets on my warrior. One for health when I PvP, the other for +AL vs. elemental for PvE.

The reason i'm doing this is because i'm making a ritualist and I like at least 3 armor sets I want to get her. Thanks for the replies!

Gladiaor, ascalon, canthan, primeval, sentinels all 15k.

I have ALL for looks-they are all gladiator (energy)+ set... i wish i could change them now...

My Warrior has 2 15k Sets and my Monk has 3 sets, one 15k, the other 1.5ks. My Ranger also has 2 sets, one 15k and one 1.5k. I don't have a "favorite character" as such.

Question 2) What do you use with these armor sets?

All 3...I like the armor, I have lots of builds, requiring different sets, and I do, of course, like having the sexiest Ranger in my Guild :P
